Like my clients, my own relationship with money is complex, fluctuating between pride at the security my wealth has provided for myself and my family, and disdain for the way our society equates wealth with success.
I was NOT the CEO of my family. I was fortunate enough to have the support of my husband, who took on that role so that I could focus on my career. Most women, however, do not have that support at home.
Dealing with uncertainty is hard. This blog highlights some practices and strategies that I found helpful as I navigated the heightened tension of 2020.
To say that this year has been eventful is an understatement. How do we cope? How do we adapt to things that are outside of our control? What strategies can we turn to?
What is your relationship to faith? I am not talking about the faith of religion. I am describing a felt certainty in life itself, a knowing that, though life will likely not unfold the way we anticipate, we will be supported if we are present.
